The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is partnering with tech start-up TraSeable and blockchain company Viant to create a system using radio-frequency identification chips (RFID tags) and QR codes to track tuna as it moves through the supply chain (boat to throat). WWF hopes to help consumers find out if their seafood is not only sustainably sourced, but legally obtained and reliably identified. Read here.
